Wiring
RS232 Connection
To connect the inverter to the SmartgridOne Controller, you must use the RS232 interface. This is distinct from the RS485 connection used by many other inverters.
- Port Selection: Ensure you are connecting to the specific RS232 port on your controller (or using a supported USB-to-RS232 adapter).
- Cable: You will typically need a DB9 serial cable.

Distance Limit RS232 cables are designed for short distances. The cable length should generally not exceed 15 meters. If the inverter is located far away from the controller, this connection method may not be reliable.
