For correct RS485 wiring: Follow the guidelines for RS485 wiring.
If the wiring shown in the table below is incorrect, please let us know.
There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.

You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the SmartgridOne Controller will find them faster!
For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The SmartgridOne Controller will scan on those first.

For at konfigurere RS485-kommunikation på BMR energimålere, følg disse trin:

Indstil Modbus-adressen:
- Gå til indstillingsmenuen ved at trykke på SET-knappen i 5 sekunder.
- Naviger til kommunikationsmenuen (P_2) ved hjælp af cursor-tasterne.
- Indstil Id (unik Modbus-adresse) til en værdi mellem 1 og 247.
Indstil Baud Rate:
- I kommunikationsmenuen (P_2), konfigurer bd (baud rate) til at matche dit system. Understøttede baud rates inkluderer 9.6 / 19.2 / 38.4 / 57.6 / 115 kBd.
Parity og Stop bits:
- Konfigurer PAr (paritet) som None, Odd, eller Even.
- Indstil St (stop bits) til 1 eller 2 efter behov.
RS485 Terminering:
- Hvis måleren er den sidste enhed på RS485-bussen, tilføj et 120 Ω termineringsmodstand.

For enheder med Ethernet-mulighed:

Sørg for, at Ethernet-kablet er korrekt tilsluttet.
Brug Power Monitoring Software (PMS) til at konfigurere IP-adresse, subnetmaske og gateway.
Bekræft, at Modbus TCP-porten er indstillet til 502.
