Fluvius Telecontrole v4 relayed by an EME eCON++ Gateway

Fluvius Telecontrole through an EME eCON++ Gateway

Warning
Warning

Prefer the native Fluvius Telecontrole support The SmartgridOne Controller can talk to the Fluvius Telecontrole RTU directly, without an EME eCON++ Gateway or any other gateway in between. That setup is recommended and easier to commission, but it requires a SmartgridOne Controller with two ethernet ports, because the Fluvius RTU is connected to a network port of its own. Only use the external signal driver described on this page when the installation already has an EME eCON++ Gateway. See Adding Fluvius Telecontrole RTU.

This external signal driver is used when Fluvius Telecontrole v4 is not connected to the SmartgridOne Controller directly, but through an EME eCON++ Gateway.

Important
Important

The EME eCON++ Gateway device must be added first This external signal driver does not talk to the gateway itself. It reads the Fluvius commands from the EME eCON++ Fluvius Telecontrole v4 Gateway device, which must already be added to the site, and it needs the grid limits of the site to convert the setpoint percentages into power limits. The full procedure — network, grid limits, device and external signal driver — is described in EME eCON++ Fluvius Telecontrole v4 Gateway.

Adding the external signal driver

  1. Click External Signals in the top menu and click the Start wizard button.
  2. Choose Distribution system operator / grid operator, select Fluvius, then select Eme Fluvius Modbus TCP as the external signal driver and click Next.

This external signal driver has no additional input fields: everything it needs comes from the EME eCON++ Gateway device and from the grid limits of the site.
