Currently, only the connection via RS485 has been tested, but you may also be able to run the inverter via Ethernet.
Control Features
Ensure that you have the latest firmware installed on your Solis inverter. The functionality of external control features like battery control and curtailment is dependent on the firmware version.
The setup of your Solis is an important factor in which EMS-features supported:
The integration for curtailment is planned for Q4 2025, as we are waiting for a new firmware version by Solis to include curtailment registers. At the moment, there are registers available to set the output power of the inverter, but they write towards the solis flash memory, which is not meant for frequent writes. This is why we are waiting for a new firmware version to be released by Solis, which will allow us to write the curtailment values without writing towards the flash memory. Writing towards the flash memory is not recommended, as it can lead to a premature failure of the inverter.
