Charging stations with OCPP support

Supported Devices
OCPP is only supported on chargers that do not need to be connected to a mobility service provider backend. This by definition excludes all public charging stations.

The OCPP enabled charger must allow setting a local IP address as the OCPP backend. Consult the charger manufacturer in case of doubt.
Configuration
OCPP is enabled by default on the SmartgridOne Controller on TCP port 9000.
The controller must be configured to have a fixed IP address in your network to enable OCPP. This is because the SmartgridOne Controller acts as an OCPP server, and the IP adress must be configured in your charger. See Network on how to set up a fixed IP address.
In the OCPP backend configuration on the charger, fill in the address: ws://[IP address EMS]:9000
It is recommended to wait a minute or two for the charger to connect to the SmartgridOne Controller before adding it as a device in the commissioning interface.
