Not every SmartgridOne Controller comes with a P1 to USB Cable and DIN rail mounting kit, check your order if you need this!
Preparation

- To configure the SmartgridOne Controller you need an Installer account for SmartgridX. If you don't yet have an account as an organization owner, you can register via: SmartgridX.
- Make sure there is a working and supported grid meter.

For accurate grid measurements, it is recommended to connect directly to the P1 port of the digital meter. It is (generally) not possible to use an energy meter that is already connected to another device (e.g., a hybrid inverter).

For installations in Belgium: The P1 user port of the digital meter is disabled by default. Activation is done through . After activation online it may take several hours before the digital meter's P1 port provides measurements.
