KSTAR Residential Hybrid Inverters
Communication over modbus TCP using a Solarman logger is not officially supported. We see that this works on some devices, but not on others. Connect a KSTAR device using a Solarman logger at your own discretion.
Communication via the Solarman WiFi logger does not work.
When connecting with the LAN logger, the communication with the controller can be weak. If you can't find the device on the first try, use a slow scan and try the scan a few times.

Wiring
The SmartgridOne Controller and the KSTAR inverters communicate via Ethernet or RS485.
We recommend connecting the KSTAR battery and the Controller using RS485 if possible.
Connecting a single phase inverter
Connect the SmartgridOne Controller to CT/METER Port with RS-485 cable. Connect the WiFi/LAN dongle to the COM port.

Connecting a three-phase inverter
Connect the SmartgridOne Controller to METER+DRY Port with RS-485 cable. Connect the WiFi/LAN dongle to the COM port.

Ethernet
For correct ethernet wiring: Follow the the guidelines for ethernet wiring.
Configuration
- You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
- Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the SmartgridOne Controller will find them faster!
- For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The SmartgridOne Controller will scan on those first.
Select the Meter port as CT on the screen (Default is CT). Follow the settings like shown in the image below.

Remote control needs to be enabled on the inverter. In the inverter configuration menu, set "Remote CTRL" to "Enabled".
Restart the battery inverter after changing the settings.
